Fans scooped up just over 11,000 tickets to see Wayne and his Cash Money/Young Money family hit the stage in New York on March 27 and 10,000 tickets in Pennsylvania on March 30. Following his release from prison last November, the Grammy winner has been treading lightly on the music tip, only releasing a handful of tracks, including the well-received single '6 Foot 7 Foot,' off his long awaited 'Tha Carter IV' album. The New Orleans native is said to be releasing the album sometime this year.

A Missouri woman's grandmother has filed a lawsuit claiming she is the mother of Lil Wayne's fifth child.
A Missouri woman claiming Lil Wayne fathered a child with her granddaughter in 2002 served the Grammy Award-winning rapper and father of four with a paternity lawsuit. The paternity suit was originally filed August 20, but Wayne was serving time in Rikers Island since March. Due to his prison term, the mandatory DNA testing has been rescheduled until December 9.

SHUT DAT DOWN: Lil Wayne Banned From Las Vegas Hotel
Lil Wayne banned from the Wynn Hotel.
While a number of people were excited to see Lil Wayne released from jail last week, a hotel in Las Vegas banned the rapper from stepping foot inside their doors.
TMZ reports that officials at the Wynn Hotel banned the rapper from coming inside after he gave a surprise performance with Drake at the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night.
The rapper, who's not allowed to drink alcohol for three years, was absent for an after party at the Wynn Las Vegas and it apparently was not by a choice.
According to TMZ, a rep for the Wynn informed a member of Drake's entourage that Lil Wayne would not be allowed on the property -- and if he tried to enter, he'd be removed because they “didn't want any trouble.”
A rep for Wayne says however that there was no issue as the rapper stayed at the Palms Casino Resort and was not “scheduled” to appear at any events.
