While a number of people were ecstatic that Jay Electronica made a pivotal move in his career and signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label Friday, Diddy was reportedly upset and aired out his grievances with the rapper over Twitter.
The Bad Boy Records head took to his Twitter page to speak on the betrayal he felt from a “good friend” coincidentally soon after news of Jay's signing took place. He writes,
Jay Elect and Diddy were known to have a close relationship, with Jay mentioning Diddy in a number of his raps and the pair collaborating on his track “The Ghost Of Christopher Wallace.”
Adding to the all-too obvious drama between the mogul and the rapper was the mother of the New Orleans rapper's baby, Erykah Badu, who tweeted to Diddy, “I'm sorry.”
Jay and Jay Electronica have yet to comment.
His signing adds him to a roster that already includes J.Cole, Willow Smith as well as Rihanna and Wale who are both managed by the record label.
