A federal judge ordered actor Wesley Snipes to a federal prison in Pennsylvania yesterday to start serving his three-year prison sentence for tax evasion, the Middle District of Florida Federal Court said.
The "Blade" star was given a surrender date of Dec. 9, when he is to report to the Federal Correctional Institution McKean in Lewis Run, Pa., by noon.
Snipes, 48, was sentenced to three years in prison after being found guilty in April 2008 on three misdemeanor counts of failing to file federal income-tax returns.
