Beautiful Black Love: DMX's Wife Claims He Was 'Set Up' By Phoenix Authorities

DMX's wife Tashera Simmons says that he was "set up" by Phoenix authorities and that's the reason why he's heading back to jail. We aren't buying that one though.

DMX is heading back to an Arizona jail for a year after violating his probation again. He was kicked out of a drug treatment program because he had a drink during a Scottsdale performance and failed to submit to a drug test while also driving without a license. This is not a shocker by any means. We're used to Earl Simmons and his endless shenanigans. Honestly, wake us up when he's not in jail. But the woman who is still legally married to feels as the man she is currently separated from is not totally at fault. In an interview with Street Disciplez Radio, Tashera Simmons took the ball out of DMX's court . . . kinda.

"He only had three weeks left [of probation], and they set him up," Mrs. Simmons said. "Because he was in a rehab that they put him in because he was driving dirty, and they gave him permission to go do a show. How do you give someone that's supposed to be in a rehab permission to do a show? It was a set up, and then X, I can't even believe that he even took a drink knowing the situation."

We don't know about set up, and truthfully, neither do you Mrs. Simmons. DMX is like a bull in a china shop as he is determined to wreck everything put in front of him on his endless path of self destruction. Just because he was at a club doesn't mean he has to have a drink. At this point, if he wants to stay out of jail, he shouldn't perform anywhere near a bar. He's got to learn some kind of self control.
